By enabling both certification and job title based skill validation with real-time
reporting, Post-Assessments help companies hire right candidates
with shortened recruiting time.
Each Post-Assessment is a short test,
to be completed within a limited time period. After completion of
the test, an evaluation report recording score, strengths and
weaknesses of the candidate is generated and sent to the employer.

Post-Assessment
exam format
Our Job-role based Post-Assessment
exams are designed to validate the technical proficiency of a
candidate based on years of experience of the candidate. The exams
are divided into three main ‘levels of difficulty’:
- Novice - for candidates who have
no experience but are certified or for candidates with up to 6
months of experience
- Intermediate - for candidates with
around 3 years of experience
- Advanced - for candidates with 5
plus years of experience
Each Post-Assessment is a short exam,
to be completed within a limited time period. The exams have been
structured based on the ‘level of difficulty’ assigned to the
candidate.
Novice: These exams have been
developed to assess the technical proficiency of a candidate who has
just passed his/her certification or at most has 6 months of ‘real
world’ experience. These exams have the following types of
questions:
- Multiple Choice
- Drag & Drop
Majority of the questions are
multiple choice and a small percentage are ‘Drag & Drop’.
Intermediate: These exams have
been developed to assess the technical proficiency of a candidate
with around 3 years of ‘real world’ experience. These exams have
the following types of questions:
- Multiple Choice
- Drag & Drop
- Case Studies/Scenario-based
questions
A proper balance has been created for
the Intermediate level questions and a minimum passing score for
each category.
Advanced: These exams have
been developed to assess the technical proficiency of a candidate
with five or more years of ‘real world’ experience. These exams
have the following types of questions:
- Multiple Choice
- Drag & Drop
- Case Studies/Scenario-based
questions
A proper balance has been created for
the Advanced level questions and a minimum passing score for each
category.
Post-Assessment
exam results
The result of each Post-Assessment
exam taken by a candidate can be viewed in two ways:
- By e-mail sent to the ID of the
test-proctor that was entered while signing-up for the service
- By clicking on ‘View Score’ in
the Post-Assessment Admin. section on ExamsOnline.com. This
section can be accessed by entering an APIN and password on the
Partner Login page.
The exam result will document ’assessed’
candidate by ‘level of difficulty’:
- A candidate will have to answer a
minimum percentage of questions of a certain type depending on
the level of difficulty. E.g., for Advanced level exams, if a
candidate does not answer a certain percentage of case
studies/scenario-based questions correctly, he/she will not meet
the necessary criteria set by ExamsOnline.com to pass that exam.
- An overall assessment of the
candidate that describes the candidate’s level of proficiency
is also available.
- A comparison report that compares
the results for the candidate versus results for
other candidates that took the same exam for the same
organization.
Post-Assessment service is a critical
component of Certification
Cycle.
