In 1993, ExamsOnline.com team pioneered in Computer Based Training (CBT), by releasing Practice exams on CDs and diskettes.

The MCSEQuest met the long-standing need of MCSE certification candidates and became very popular. The MCSEQuest series was followed by many successful CBT products on other popular certifications such as Novell (CNEQuest), CompTIA (A+Quest) and so on. 

In 1997, ExamsOnline.com was launched to offer more delivery options (online testing and downloads) to candidates purchasing the Quest products. Going online also helped the ExamsOnline.com team to upgrade products rapidly without escalating their prices. Customers were not forced now to repurchase the same CDs, whenever products were upgraded, to get the latest versions.

Going online has enabled ExamsOnline.com to reach a certification community of millions of people
